Please note that this page is still under construction. However, I wanted to make it avliable so you all can enjoy the content that I have up as I put it Up. I am going to have a couple of pages with different links to different ideas (Coin Supplies, Coin Books, Random Coin Stuff, ect.) I am also going to have a few of my favorites on this page though. Without further adue, here is this page! Also, just to have full disclosure I would like to say that yes, I do get a small omission from the links to Amazon.com
One of the oldest adages in coin collecting is "buy the book before you buy the coin", which is basically saying that you need to know what you are doing before you go out and put a lot of money into coins. With this being said, there are numerous books that I personally recommend that will provide you with a lot of very useful information that will help you build a successful coin collection. The knowledge from these books is crucial in allowing you to avoid mistakes such as purchasing fake coins, and making sure that you buy good coins at great prices which is critical to having a successful coin collection.
Coin Books
1) "The Redbook"
Better known as "A Guide Book Of United States Coins" This is the most popular book in the coin collecting world for a reason, it has a lot of information about every major coin series that has been made in the United States, and more than just pricing information whee for many series it has basic information about how to grade the various coins of the series. Furthermore, it even has information about coins such as some of those that were made during the colonial times, and more! 2) Let's Start A Coin Collections Perfect Pocket Sized Book Of Coins
Although I may be a bit bias as i did write this book above, I would honistaly say that it is a great book for new collectors as it was written to help new coin collectors. This book is great because it provides a good overview of coins, the coin market, places to go to in order to learn more about the coin market and it has resources that are made to help new coin collectors learn more about the market along with various tips and tricks that will provide them with some insight as to some of the things that new coin collectors should be mindful of when starting or growing their coin collection.

3) Grading Coins By Photographs: An Action Guide for the Collector and Investor.
One of the most important skills to have when collecting coins is that of grading. This skill is a very important one to have, because a coins grade is very important factor in the value that a coin has, and being able to determine a coins grade is often the difference between overpaying for a coin and getting a good deal. I personally recommend this book because I love how it has a photo grade format, which allows you to have a visual comparison of your coins but also it is in a spiral format which allows it to stay open better than other books that are on the market. Also, it has high quality descriptions and indicators that will help you learn a lot about grading various coins.
4) History of the United States Mint and its Coinage.
Personally, I highly recommend "History of United States Mint And Its Coinage" because of the valuable, detailed and highly insightful information about the amazing history of the coins that have been minted in the United States and the mints that produced them. This book will give you a very strong appreciation for the history and people that surrounds the coins that have been produced in the United States, and covers topics such as why mints came into existence, the coins that they produced and why they produced them, as well as the people that were involved with designing and producing the amazing coins.
5) The Experts Guide To Collecting & Investing in Rare Coins by Q David Bowers
Personally the book above is one that I strongly recommend for collecting and investing in coins. This book has a lot of information about investing and collecting United States coins and provides a lot of detailed information regarding just about every series of coins that has been produced in the United States. In addition to the detailed information about coins this book also provides a lot of information about the history of the coin market, and how the coin market operates. Moreover the author, Q. David Bowers is a leading expert in the numismatic field and has been a very active participant in the coin market for decades, where one of the reasons why I recommend this book so highly is because he can speak from personal experience in addition to research to provide additional information and perspective on the concepts that he discusses in this book.
